The lfs has some labeled as "king kong" but I haven't been able to find anything on a king kong besides the blood parrot and he said they came from the same parents as one he has in a display but he said that one was a gold based fader so I donno I've been wanting one but I like to know what I'm getting so if there's any info on the king kong or the gold based faders I'd appreciate it

Probably some made up name to market them. There are other flowerhorns that use king in the names, you would just have to look through the photos for a possible match,.
 
It's only about an inch and still mainly silver with a flower line and a red tint on the fins and the fader on display looks like Midas with a pink face that's supposed to be from the same two parents

Ok I got off early today and made it down to the fish store before he closed and got some terrible pics of his gold based fader and the one in question
