I think I know how red texas get king pearls now. By crossing a carpintis with a thai silk, then breed with female red texas/parrot. correct me if i am wrong. If you all agree i am going to try this experiment.

The project sounds good. Go for it if you have quality fishes. FHs are like a box of chocolate. You never know what you'll get. You can call it king pearls if you want when you create them. But it wouldn't mean much to intelligent experienced fh keepers.
