Howdy,

Does anybody have experience with king tigers in a planted tank?

Thanks,
HarleyK

Can be good can be bad. What kind of plants are we talking about?

Echinodorus, maybe Nymphaea lotus. Also Anubias, but those shouldn't be a problem
I had Ancistrus damage Echinodorus before, which is why I am asking...

if it active it will put them up
I am not overly concerned about uprooting. The Anubias are tied to driftwood and rocks, no fish is going to shake them loose. And plants in substrates will be covered with 3-8'' rocks around the stem.

Thanks,
HarleyK

With those plants, and a good deep substrate, you won't have any problems. The lotus may have some problems until it gets established and rooted.

And the answer is:

They eat plants, even Anubias.:WHOA:
