Kink free tubing.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used to use that tubing in my pond. It works great for awhile. But, it becomes brittle over time. At first, I thought it was just the effects of UV, but the sections that were buried or concealed from light became just as brittle--just took longer. Wouldn't use it inside. The tubing is about 2mm thick (on a good day) between the ribbing.

You are better off using flex pvc or vinyl tubing.
If you need specific bends/curves, you can always heat and shape regular pvc pipe.

I use hose clamps (the metal kind you use on cars and motorcycles) on some of my tubing in areas where it "kinks." Just another idea for you.
