Kinked Bichir ?

My bichir seems to have developed some kind of kink in its back.

Came on after i fed him big earth worm, seemed like his back end was floating and couldnt swim down from the surface. Bloated maybe a thought, but since then hes started swimming again but with a kinked back.

I'l get a pic as soon as he comes out of hiding

Anyone know what this could be?

Mines in the same situation from his normal diet, but I increased meals.. its happened before, usually goes away within a week.

What do you guys feed them on? I find it hard to feed mine becuase anything i put in the tank the other fish snatch it first, even if i direct the food within the bichirs reaching distance :S

Oh and he's been kinked for about a month now too

I feed mine normally the whole time, and hes better now.. He had trouble eating but he still managed to get some. My tank only has 2 polys and a knife right now, so theres no trouble at feeding time. Massivore is the staple.
