I know male blood parrots are sterile 95% of the time but what about male kirins? I haven't sexed my parrots but I think my kirin and my red crystal are trying to spawn (mostly because they are fighting with the kamari parrot thing that I have, swimming with each other, the kirin looks like he's in spawning colors, and someone is digging a GIANT HOLE WHERE MY CRYPTS ARE IN A DIRTED TANK BECAUSE THEY ARE IDIOTS) and I'm thinking about putting them in their own 20L for a bit until they either figure things out or stop making a mess of the tank but I'm curious the likelihood of their spawn being viable if they do indeed attempt spawning.
If they did spawn it'd be kinda cool, if only I had a situation where I could raise tons of fry and see what they'd end up looking like.
