Kissing Gourami Info!

I always thought they only got 4-5 inches. Recently read they get giant! How big do they get and how quick? Also any pictures of large ones?

Well kissing fish can attain 10-12 inches long. They are very slow growing fish. Mine have been around 4" for a year now. I keep 3 pinks and 2 greens.

I would disagree with them being slow growers.. I have a few and they're the fastest growing fish in the tank. They went from about 1.5 inches to 5 inches in about 5 months. They have almost over taken my 6 year old clown loaches that are 6-7 inches.

I have a big one... pushing 12 inches. I bought him big when i rescued him from a lfs in a 20 gallon so no clue on growth rate

lol That's a crazy mixture of fishes, I love it!
