So i moved 2 new rocks into my tank, and i looked over, and saw my green terror and my female jack wresteling, with their mouths, almost like they are kissing, is this normal behavior, and do i need to seperate them?

thanks alex

Sounds like they both want to claim the new rock territory as there own. Make sure this is not a constant thing as injured lips can be fatal. Happened to my freinds "prized" Dempsey and the poor thing starved to death.

Please people. if a JD bred with a GT(not sure its been done) im sure if you grew the babies out long enough to see what you got youd end up with some stunners in the looks department. those are both very colorful fish and id be interested to see what their progeny looked like. get them to breed and then selectively breed their babies and see what new kind of stuff you can come up with. could be interesting.

Are you able to distinguish the sex of the 2? If they are both males then they are fighting for territory and dominance. If one is a male and one a female then could be some chemistry! :naughty:
But i say probably they are fighting for territory, since you mentioned that you just simply moved 2 new rocks into your tank.
