Kitchen tile/slate to mount a piece of driftwood?

I'm going to be running to Home Depot here in a few hours to get some Stainless steel screws. I have a piece of driftwood i will be mounting. Any kind of kitchen tile ok to use or are there stuff to avoid that can eventually leach into tank?

I use the natural slate tiles. I try to pick the ones with the least amount of iron deposits. They are also very easy to drill.

+1, ive always used natural slate and never had a problem. Ive had one piece mounted this way in my tanks for over 20 years
