im looking to but a small kitten preferably 10 to 14 weeks of age.. not really trying to spend a fortune on a pure bred any rgular type of cat is fine for me.. if you know of any stores that may have or a personal friend whose cats had some kitten let me know people : )

ohh also must be local i dont feel like having my kittens stuffed in a box before i get them

Go to the shelter

shelter ftw... usuially will cost you like $20-30(adoption fee/donation) and they have all their shots and usuially are fixed

getting the shots and having the cat fixed on your own will cost you somewhere around $200

going to the shelter is a giant pain in my ***.. its easier to have a kid then to get a cat from a shelter.. adopting in my area goes anywhere from 100 to 150.. i have visited many shelters and they all want letters from my land lord, they wanna come check out my house and they want personal refrences.. that to me is a complete invasion of space.. plus i work almost non stop so just going to these places becomes a hassle..

Go to PetCo in Union Sq.
There are a TON of cats that need a good home!
When you get a kitten you don't know what you're getting, they could be cool or crazy.
But if you get a young adult you can see their personality right away.

yeah get a young cat instead of a kitten, my first cat I got we bought as a kitten, and now it doesn't even let you pick it up and barely lets you pet it, my newest cat we got when it was 2 years old is the best cat we ever owned because we were able to see what it's personality was like before we got it.
