okay so my KK like a fool that he is likes to fight the intake tube of my fx5, bumped the mesh guard off and.... got his kok stuck in the tube....now obviously im being serious about this. so now he had a half moon cut from the tube.... he isnt even fazed by it at all. n yes i no keep the water very clean, lots of water changes and warmer water with salt will help. im doing all of this already. i dnt want to use any meds really because i just moved him in with my rays.(seeing how long that lasts) now my questions is will the kok heal and still show his pattern that he has on it ? and should i rip off the excess skin or just let it take its own course and heal ? i let me aro on its own heal and not take off the excess skin and it healed great. thnx

I would quarantine him asap and do big water changes every day + the salt/heat. No meds can really heal that.
I heard Aloe Vera helps deep wounds but not too sure on that.

its actually not that bad it looks worse then it is, honestly it seems to already like half healed as crazy as that sounds.... like almost how u peal an orange is how it looks that skin got pealed back and is like slowly reattaching at least from what it looks like. maybe i will post pics every two days so u guys can see progress thnx
