KKP spawned with SB Tex!!

Came home to a nice surprise tonight.

The two fish I wanted to pair up finally did although the sexes are backwards (which is a good thing!).

Turns out my big KKP is actually female (so is the smaller one)

The SB carpinte texas is male!

I moved the snails, and will separate the two fish with their spawn from their tankmates. Once the eggs hatch, the wigglers will be removed.

Thank you, I hope so! I did see a few white eggs, so I've got my fingers crossed that it will stay that way by tomorrow, and hopefully see some little black dots the day after


I am hoping for some fish with moms color and bodyshape with pearls, and some with dads body shape, with moms colors, and pearls.

Congrats, male looks like an unfaded RT so there is a possibility he is sterile.

Thanks, this morning, 99% of eggs still look good, still the same 4-5 white ones.

The egga do look like they darkened a bit.

There should be a wide range of phenotype combos, an yeah hopefully some kkp shape/color with pearls would be nice.

Nope. I thought it was male which is why I was selling it, now that I know both my KKP are female, I'm keeping them.

Still selling the female FH though.
