Knife collection thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm considering getting a knife, but don't think there are any of the kind i am after in aus and am unsure of shipping laws on a weapon (its a combat knife..)

Any help? (also its $280 for the knife) Thought it'd be a good way to kick of a collection..

There is a thread like this somewhere. Some people have amazing knife collections that make you quiver at the beauty of such fine metal work.

why would anyone want a knife collection that isn't fish? thats just sad. its like me starting a thread about my lipgloss collection. :D hmmmmmmm

I may sell some of my knives soon. Both older and newer. Stay tuned.

I thought I saw a thread of peoples collection on here? I wanted to see what everyone had.

my grandfather has a knife from the 1700's given to some nobility in brazil. It is pure silver, except for the blade (razor sharp) and the handle (ivory). On it is sketched images of native animals like the jaguar

Some knives and some firearms make a good investment because they can actually gain in value rather than just losing value.

Knives and money are two gifts that are never returned.

I don't see why you should have any issues importing a knife to AUS.

I would purchase a knife from a known custom maker with a good Reputation if you are going for value. Like art(which is what a good design is) a knife's value will increase when the maker stops producing the product.
