So i have a 30 gal stocked with 2 ABKs and a fire eel. Had a leporonis fascitus in there as well but he's no longer with us..
well i think my tank looks bare now so i wanna add in something to give the tank more life. i was thinking some livebearers. They wont be big enough for the others to eat and when they spawn my little beasts will have some food.
possibility?

A 30gal is too small to house those fisdh long term anyway. Personally I would wait till you get a larger tank for your current stock, then use the 30gal as a breeder tank/growout for the live bearers.

well it's just a grow out tank. i know they grow to be very large but for now my fire eels is'nt even 8 in. and my knifes are both only about 3 in. Eventually i'll move them to a 55 once i get enough to purchase a 75 for my Cichlid tank. but for now they love their 30 gal. I'm asking do you think they'll still breed with the presence of the bigger guys? do you think my knifes and eel will like to eat the fry?

okay thanks yall. much appreciated.
i'll get larger tanks in like 3 months once i move out of town. it's a grow out tank for now and it's very well kept up with water changes an undergravel filter with a powerflow and lots of tunnels and hideouts. my fire eel likes it alot. i mostly catch the knifes swimming happily sometimes during the night time.

I've kept ABKs with Mollies without any issue before. Not much of an Eel guy, but as mentioned, they will require a larger tank in the future. A single ABK can be in a 30g just fine, but since you have a couple and upgrading, I recommend getting more. A pair will probably fight unless it's a pair (luck if the draw).

the fire eel is one of a few spineys ide be comfotable with livebearers, knives depend on their electrical senses enough imo anything small enough to hit their radar thats mouth sized will be eaten. i haven't found a knife yet that prefered frozen or dead food over live. but ive never kept a group of abks long term.
