knife fish hides

so what does everyone use to provide hides for there knife fish espeacialy those with black Ghost knives.

I have a piece of driftwood propped up in the front of the tank so I can see him just like in Liz's pic.

A thick piece of piping tends to work if you can incorporate it to your setup !

slate is , for some reason, exspensive here also iam worried that the slate would one day slip and fall crushing a lovely and unexpected black ghost knife.

also what is a good place to find large clay pipe 6 inch ID and 2feet long.

black pvc around here floats and makes my fish act sick.

I just have a piece of driftwood that arches. Likes to hide in there.

ghost houses used here, slightly burried in the gravel and covered with stone flakes and small plastic plants to make em look natural while still getting a small view of the knife

I have a glass bottle that mine hides in...its cool cause he feels safe and you can still see him

i use rocks that i get from around the bluffs and rivers to construct houses for my 2 bgk and my ck...if you are worried about the flat rock falling get larger rocks to put at the base to stop it from sliding...thats what i do

Mine hides in the fake plants, under the piled rocks, etc.
