I know, but they are one of the easiest ones to find, at least around here. thats why I listed them.

ghost knifes don't generally get don't over 14", though they can reach 20".

yeah i know about the ghost knifes but they dont rely appeal to me because they always hide.

I didnt mean it as a bad suggestion lol. Haven't seen many round my way for a little while, but i'm sure you can get them over here. African brown knife would be cool though

Got no idea what your talking about... stereotyping.. you know fish are people too man! haa jk but certainly all fish do not have programmed minds that act the same.. my Glass knife, never hides, absolutely loves his glass chimneer(instead of the *** plastic tube) and gets along with my ray, thinbar dat, aro baby, before he was in with a clown kinfe, EBJD,Firemouth, jd's, convicts.... the fish can be housed with anything... theyre awesome!!

I agree with the suggestions of a African Brown Knife (Xenomystus Nigri) or a Bronze/Black Knife (Notoperus Notoperus). Even the Albino form of N. Notoperus is cool.
