Do royal clown knives lose their stripes over time?

I've got a 2 footer (probably a bit smaller then tl's' whos turning light

Spots? Im talking about the royal knife fish matt:/ but yeah they do have aome tiny spots but not like those of cks

Royal knifefish do not loose the royal stripes. They actually get well define as they grow.

Stress, sometimes if your gravel or substrate is light in color also. Most fish try to blend in the best they can.
