Hello, have been wondering a couple things.

First, I've read (although can't remember where) that knife fish do react to electrical equipment, such as a cellphone, or a powerhead.
I think I read somewhere that you'd want these sorts of things ~6ft away from the tank so as not to stress them. Thoughts on this? I mainly read it about the BGK, but would imagine it applies to all knives, maybe?

Secondly, am wondering where you can purchase different color morphs of the BGK, like ones shown in this thread http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?165836-RARE-Black-Ghost-Knives
I really don't know of any places that sell unusual fish. The best thing I've found is aquabid :/

I can't get a BGK at the moment but when I start thinking of questions I have to ask them.

Thank you to anyone who responds :)

I've heard the electric signal thing too but if its true, my knives aren't affected by it. I don't have a BGK but I've got an aba aba and an ABK and neither are phased by it. I've seen the BGK morphs pop up before but that was a while ago and I haven't seen them since. I think one was like a hypo, really light compared to the normal black and someone posted not long ago about bgk's that have like half a dorsal fin. They looked pretty cool. Your best bet is to just ask around and check the vendors on here.
