We have 2 species of knifefish available.
Zebra Carapo Knife (6-8") - $30
White-stripe Knife (4-10") - $20-40
Not alot is known about the White-Stripe Knife, aka Buffalo Knife or Gold-Striped Knife. It was ID'ed as Sternopygus macrurus. It is very similiar to a black ghost knife, but alot less common. My exporter told me it is only offered to him for a short period each year.
The zebra carapo knifes are great, and have alot of personality. They can be aggressive, and even attack the forceps when I feed them. They remind me alot of a snake with their movement and personality. They are alot less shy then most of the other 'electric' knives, and don't immediately hide like BGK.
