Knifefish ID?

Any idea on what these are for sure? also any information on maximum size and temperament or pictures of one that you might own would be awesome.

Zebra knife fish-Gymnotus pedanopterus?

Look like javari. Will get upto 8inches.

I don't recall hearing of that name before but it's good looking knife.I might have to keep an eye out for one.

Manageable in size compared to tiger and carapo. Need a planted tank. Keep one as they are really aggressive with each other unless it’s heavily planted with hiding spots. Seasonal and this time they start to show up.

the bigger one looks like javari I just sold this one cool fish for sure. The are so much like electric eels. The two smaller ones almost look like a different species jmo.

I keep 2 in a 20g grow out, they aren't really aggressive to eachother

also that one without the front stripes is probably a rare/uncommon species of gymnotus I would get it
