most black ghosts could too. occasionally you get one that is overly aggressive but thats rare.

ok. you should check out my other african brown knife thread i updated it. the one about keeping them in a community. ive decided to get them but im still lookin around for more info.
i could do another black ghost knife in that tank but then id have 2 but in separate tanks, and maybe ill want a variety. plus id only be able to do one bgk, and i could do multiple african brown knives.
With BGKs, they tend to be territorial. They also sense electrical pulses of other fish in the tank. The ABK will send them out and the BGK will consider them competition and kill them. Plus it also messes with their sensors to detect electrical pulses. I wouldn't recommend mixing Knife species. It's been done before, but most aren't very successful.
i was more leaning towards having like 8 african ghost knives in that tank. therell be plenty of space to spread out in. i could use your help back on my old thread benz, i posted some new stuff there. but ill have my bgk in the other tank with my pictus cats and tinfoil barbs.
