Well....I bought three Koi Angels from a local breeder in the spring with the intention of raising them and hopefully having a pair. I moved them into a 20 gallon breeding tank on Monday and they just laid eggs.....I'm going to try to let the parents raise this batch. If they eat them it's not a big deal, I'll just pull the next batch. I've attached pics of the parents for all of you.....Enjoy.

Thanks....Not a big deal if they're not good parents...I'll just raise the next batch myself. I wanted to give them the opportunity to raise them first. I think it's a lot more enjoyable to watch the fish raising their young.

Angelfish get better at parenting each time they breed. mine just layed eggs aswell, and I wasn't surprised that they ate the good eggs, and left the bad ones. Human raised angelfish are much weaker than angel raised angels. Just leave them in the tank with the eggs and see what happens.

Well, it is almost 2am....They laid the eggs 10 hours ago....The pair are still fanning the eggs. So far, so good....But like I said, I don't have high expectations on their first spawn. But, they are doing a lot better than I had anticipated.
