I'm trying to actually raise fry this time. My koi angels keep trying to breed. This is the second time this month they tried, but the big flagtail in the tank never let's the eggs last more than a day. Anyway, she helped me out this time by laying her eggs on my mag float. So I was able to put the mag float in a hob breeder box I have for livebearers. I had to put the other side of the magnet on the box of course so they'd stay underwater. Is there any special challenges to raising angelfish fry? I have a 10 gal with guppies that I can clear out for them.

When all of them go free swimming be ready to start giving them Brine shrimp 2 or 3 times a day. Dont feed them before they go free swimming cause other wise you might mess up something with their swim bladder

I always put methylene blue in the external container with newly-laid eggs, and an air stone to move the water around. Stops the eggs from turning white with fungus, but not if they are unfertilized!

Yea there's not much difference in appearance until they get bigger. My males are almost twice the size if the females and they do get a slight nuchal hump. People may argue that with me but I can get photographic proof of my males vs females.
