Koi Angels Spawning

I have always been an angelfish fanatic.
That's the brightest red with that much coverage i have ever seen!!!

I have 3 batches of fry right now from my 2 best pairs with the oldest being 29 days old and the youngest 5 days old. The oldest now look like miniature Angels and already showing a major portion of the body Orange/Red. Once they reach about Quarter body size and I can get a better feel on what the coloring will be like and may place a few them on Aquabid. I will keep at least half of the first and second batch since each pair has an unrelated female. The males are brothers. I like using the Angels from Florida Guppies Plus since Luis is a friend of Dave Hlasnick who owns New Breeds Angelfish and Luis has some of Dave's Angels. Daves Angels are near impossible to get and in the last 5 years I have not been able to buy any. Mellow Aquatics have been closed most of 2006 and I haven't heard if they will reopen or not. I thought by this time they would have had there breeding pairs spawning and at least a few Angels for sale, hoping in 2007 they will reopen and I can get 3 or 4 also.
Florida Guppies already has a waiting list! lol... I swing by every now and then...but I am already on the list so now its just about waiting for some fish! Will Definitely be interested in some of those babies, so let us know when they are up on Aquabid!
