I'm actually get rid of 400 10" kois (mostly ogons and masubas) Sunday for someone. After weeks of asking, I finally got someone to take it for free. Good luck.

The quality of koi (and therefore the price) is primarily determined by symmetry, shape, and pattern/color. Size really isn't as big of a factor. There are more big "backyard pond" grade koi out there than people who want them, so these koi are essentially worthless money-wise unless you come across someone who thinks a big koi must be worth a lot regardless of the traits listed, and will give you some money (which is possible on craigslist). I wouldn't charge more than about $10 each, but you can always start high and haggle with anyone interested.

If you can ship.. I would say ebay them.

A buddy of mine gets fish in from Blackwater Koi Creek Farm down in Florida.. he's actually a vendor.. a 4" ugly as Hell fish will go for upwards of $100.

Ebay "Kttw" and you will see his fish.

But on CL, I would say you could probably get around $10 a pc.

The biggest thing with koi is that they are meant to be seen from the top.. so the better pattern on the top, the better chance of it selling.

The koi are low grade, Not many will offer much for a low grade koi:| 10 bucks for each sounds fair to me
