any advice on the care of keeping koi gold fish, easy or hard

I have been getting mine from Petsmart. Unfortunately, their supplier tranquilizes their fish for shipping and they often overdose. The fish will make it past the warranty period but in a misserable way. Their health gradually declines until they eventually die. I have several in my pond and my tanks. New additions either all live or all die

koi are easy imo. just keep water clean and your set. are they for tank or pond?

very easy to care for, but they get pretty big and a pond is much more suitable than a traditional tank.

Yeah a pond is the way to go. I've never seen them do that well in a tank. I have a few koi in my one pond. 3 of them are over 2 feet.

just put in a 1000 gallon pond next to my house
