Koi in the Chinese Takeaway

My local Chinese takeaway has a Trigon 190L corner tank, completely bare housing 3 x at least 12" koi carp. They can barely move. This is downright cruel - are there any laws against this sort of thing?

Actually, just looked at my ruler, they gotta be at least 14" each.

I personally would ask the guys to give them away as this is cruel and they should be in a big siz pond at that size,and if you do have a extra big tank or a pond ask them if they can give you it

only if it were a cat or dog! society in general views fish as meaningless, sort of like bugs

Ha, they will just cook them and serve it in the next order of shrimp w/ lobster sauce. Ummmmmmm.... shrimp w/ lobster sauce....
