Hi. What it will be worth to you will depend on the quality of your breeders and the market that you have. The quality of your breeders will determine how many good KOIs you can get from one spawning, usually a few per thousand. Most of the offsprings will not possess the qualities of KOI and end up as feeders. You will also need ample space or lots of huge tanks to handle the thousands of fry from one spawning because colors start to show after 2-3 months.
