I have 2 koi fishes in my aquarium (180g) and iv had them for about 5 6 months. They seem to be the same size since the day i got them. I also read many articles some say it could be not enough water change, not enough food, small tank, etc. Can anyone advise me? thanks.

Are you using koi food? If you're using tropical fish food you may be missing nutrients. I'm not 100% on this but worth looking into. I'm sure someone else will chime in on ingredients.

Add more current, do more wc, bump up temp slightly and feed good food. They will go through the roof. What food are you currently feeding?

Need to know how big they are & how old they are. The growth rate of many fish when they reach adulthood slows down greatly. Add to this potentially less than optimal food & water conditions...and you have a combination for very slow growth.

They are about 6 or 7 inches. Sometimes I feed them fruit or veggies but mostly fish flakes. I think its enough space for them they are small and my tank has more then enough room for them to swim around. I do feed them once a day.Temp is kept at a steady 70. I do have this brown stuff on my tank glass now. I guess it some sort of algae and I see them eating it of the glass at times. I'm seriously thinking I'm under feeding them.
