Koi Pond Size !!!

Kinda depends on the little things too, like the filter, heater, placement, plus type & size of koi.

Any ideas on the aforementioned?:D
 
That's a little small for koi. I wouldnt put more than 3-4 in there. You should really try to go for at least 1500 gallons for koi
 
10Lx5Wx3D that better? It will be kind of in the shade but in the evening some Direct Sun Light for a hour and a half.i want a species of Koi maybe 15"-24" if there is 1 or Gold fish. i want like 6Koi if it is possible. Or more>
 
At appox. 1125 gals. 6 Koi would be to much waste. You could use it as a grow out, but eventually it would be small. Koi can reach 3 feet +. I haven't heard of any that stay under 2 feet. Not to say their isin't a "dwarf" vareity, just never heard of one. You could do 1 or 2 Koi w/ a bunch of goldfish, but stlll need awesome filtration.
 
remmeber koi get big and not just long but heavy so they produce a lot of waist thats why most koi ponds are at like 20 000 gal or more
