ok when i bought my 75 gallon fish tank it came with a platinum koi about 10" how much do you think it would be worth?

i really don't understand how koi are graded and priced. the 30 dollar koi seem the same to me as the ones that cost $3000. I will check to find you a koi grading site
as you can see, i'm no expert on this, but i bet if some koi breeder sees this thread, a few pics could tell them a lot as far as pricing
correct me if im wrong but i believe koi are priced by there colors markings and size as well as place of origin and bloodline
yes that is what I am reading. however, aside from that, i cannot find a grading guide or chart that shows what to look for that increases the value. what i have read is that the japanese koi will show better color and size is better. their bloodline must be better than the american strainsundyingguitarist;3424942; said:
