One of my friends is moving house so has given me her favourite koi as she can't bear to sell it as it was a present from her husband. Anyway the lfs told her husband that this variety is quite rare and worth quite a bit of money. (I have no idea how much her husband paid for it exactly but I know it was over £100) I have no idea about varieties of koi but to be honest this fish doesn't look that special to me. Its dark navy blue, non metalic with peach/white tips to its fins. I've had a look on the internet and havent come across anything that looks similar to this fish. Is this realy some 'rare' colour variety or was my friends husband completely ripped off?
