on a rock
hi am a noob at raising aro's, but i want to ask all of you experts out thereif i can raise my koi which are about 6" long along with my newly bought aro? or should i take out the koi's? i only have 2 koi's and they are the same size. they are currently in a 30 gallon tank, but i am picking up a 125 gallon one tomoorw. i am going to ru the new tank for about 2 months before i put the 2 koi's and the aro in there. my aro is only 3" long( a baby ). the only other fish i ahve in there is a pleco and a 3" clown loach. thank you very much for your help in this matter.

Koi are COLDwater pond fish and grow 3ft. Plan ahead :). A silver arowana is a WARMwater tank/pond fish that also grows 3ft. You should not mix Koi with tropical fish.

I think the original question has been answered, hoping you realize that within two years the arowana will need to have a tank that is about twice the size of the 125g you are buying.

ah ha thank you very much for all of your responses. i knew that you guys would answer all of my questions. thank you very much.
