Lol sounds ridiculous.!Found this guy at the lfs for less then a pack of smokes. His kok has a major dimple. He's been in a 100gal community for a week and it still doesn't look filled out. Can the dimple be permanent? He's eating well and fighting off a good portion of the tank. I thought he was just like that due to poor care as he was a trade in.

Could it have had a chunk bitten out of it then healed? That's strange.

Vanica that's a reasonable idea. Hmm. I'll take a better photo when he comes out tomorrow . It doesn't really bother me but he would look a lot better if if was nice and full.

Btw he's about 4.5" tip to tip

Update:

This guy didn't fare well in the community tank due to the lace rock. He suffered from kok rash from rubbing on the rocks. He was moved into a a hospital tank that was being treated with tetra fungus guard this morning to prevent any secondary infections and to give me time to move things around.

Surprised me this evening.

not gonna lie bro. The head should compliment the fish but instead making the fish look freaky

Puahaha Animal, I totally agree. His kok twist to the left, he has drop tail, weak colors, and scarring on kok. I'm also not a fan of rd in general. Positive note, very interactive, good movement, and definitely gets the most attention from guests.*Parental tip, never let the kid chose next fish. I was steering her towards ranchus but she was stuck on him, go figure.
