Was wondering if the kok is generic or how healthy or agressive the flowerhorn is.. Also wondering if flowerhorns can be kept with datnoids?

KOK is like 90% genetic, if its not in the gene's it wont have big KOK..
Other 10% is food, water conditions, etc etc

kok is genetic and not all the fry possess the gene

genetic. That's why fish with big ball head are expensive. If not everyone can bring a fh home and make its head into a size of a basketball.

Makes sense. Thanks guys but what bout it's agression? Think it'll do well in a community of predator fish in a 180?

If they were all brought up as juvies then yes, there's a high chance that every fish will get along with each other..
On the other hand, if you have adult predator fish + a newly introduced flowerhorn then sorry to say that you will be seeing a lot of fighting & worst case scenario, dead fish..
