My flowerhorn has an injury on his head. He ran into the heater suction cup holder and has a nice size wound. I'm wondering if it will leave a scar and if flowerhorns scar easily?20180106_001550.jpg
 
Heres a few pics I can get of him. The injury has healed for a week now and theres a discoloration where the scar is.
 
Awesome FH btw,
My FH crashed into the outlet of the filter and had a little damage on its tiny hump
It healed up perfectly in a week.
I am sure it will just take a little more time to get the colour back up to normal as the injury was slightly large.
I hope it gets better.

Hey... My flowerhorn just cut itself on the gravel filter while i was away from the tank.. the cut is definitely through the scales and into the flesh.. but not too deep.. will this heal on its own or is it likely to get infected.. is there anything i can do to help it?
