hi mfk just wany to know if a fh kok come and go?

i have a 3.5-4" fh and the kok seem to come and go, is that normal?

I find that mine went down a bit when eating less or stressed, but then right back up when feeding lots. This is what he looks like today, and is about 13 inches long.
