Wanted to see differences for myself between koliba and Koloton so i ordered one. Hope it looks different to my koloton because some i see look way different and some look so similar i swear its the same fish. Will try amd get pics once picked up.

Where did you end up ordering your Koliba from? My current one came from Toyin, the one before that from ADC when it was still around. Both fish looked really different even though they were both Koliba. Never had a Koloton to compare to. Interested to see what your thoughts are when you get yours in.

maybe we should make a comparison thread because I had trouble finding a lot of information comparing them it was either one or the other. From my view seems that the koliba is a lot Greener with a more defined color where has my koloton is a little bit lighter but it's hard to tell because thickness wise size-wise there a little bit

Tje last pic is the koliba and koloton side by side. It was taken with my crappy old camera I'll try to get new pics with my new phone camera later today can't believe what a difference the camera makes.

, here are the two Koliba Ive owned for comparison Here is my current Koliba from Toyin (on a good day)
It has shorter finlets and very brown toned
My old Koliba from ADC (Jumper that died)
It had very tall finlets and an olive green tone.

These two always interested me. It seems like no two are the same. Heres my koloton. I feel like dmds koliba from ADC looks a heck of allot different than the one he got from toyin.
I read the biggest difference between the two are koliba has a disorganized pattern toward the tail and koloton has a more organized pattern. I also got my koloton from toyin i feel like the pattern is very green and the base is a yellow/golden color.
