I know this topic has been raised a few times but what exactly distinguishes a Koliba from a Koloton? Markings? Headshape?

I need you views on these 2 pieces that I have. Both are bought as Koliba but they do look different especially in terms of markings (P.S: I know there are variations even among those within the same locality, but I'm opening this up for discussion). Your views please! :)

Here is what I've noticed:
Koliba are more green, bulkier. Koloton has better contrast/pattern, slender.
1st picture looks more like Lapradei "Guinean" and 2nd looks like sp. Koliba. However, I could be wrong.

I'm not sure but those r nice poly's all I have is a sen

Ok, thanks for the comments guys!
its a lap
It's a lap? What do you mean? I know both are variants of the guinea lap but I'm asking for the distinct features of the 2 sp.

Hey Hao, thanks for your input! I bought these 2 pieces as Koliba. The 1st pic is a Koliba from Toyin, I know it's a Koliba but the 2nd pic is very different in terms of the color of the markings. It has maintained a dark brown color unlike that of the 1st pic where it remains green. However, other physical factors seemed to be the same.

The pic below is my recent pickup, a Koloton from Toyin (via Aquahobby). The stark difference I noticed is that again, the color of the markings are leaning more to dark brown and the length of the snout to the eye is longer than that of the 2 pics I have posted above.

bro, maybe try to get close up head pic of the 2 Koliba is easier to compare the length of snout to the Koloton.

easier to compare and discuss. Thanks.
