Hello, I'm an American ex-pat found this site trying to identify a fish I recently caught while catching wild feeders for my piranha's. There are a lot of ponds and streams here, I often catch wild medaka's (Japanese rice fish) sword tails, mollies, guppies, talapia, shrimp, prawns, crawfish, and fish I cant Identify. Sometimes I get lucky, I've caught a walking cat fish fry (who's now getting pretty big, and most recently some kind of eel whose only about 3 or 4 inches long now. I only use a net with bait for catching.
