Im suprised these cichlids arent more common. They have a spawn every 2-3 weeks if I remove there fry, if I leave the fry in then they hold off for about 6 weeks and dont even eat the first batch.
Next time I take pics I will remember to clean the glass.

How many spawns have you had and have you grown any out to sell? Nice fish.

Congrats. You don't see Krausii breeding too often. How big are they? Is this their first successful spawn?

I have had 5 or 6 spawns since the middle of Oct. I used to keep the male and 2 females with a few other cichlids. The male would breed with one female then about 2 weeks later breed with the other female. It took a little while to rehome the other fish in there tank. At this time I have around 100 5 week old fry in a 20g.
The male is around 8" at 8 months and female is around 7" same age.
