I have a lone pelvicachromis pulcher in a 40B that I need for a temporary safe house for another fish. Any issues with sticking this fish in with a couple of silver dollar size angels in a 29? I am guessing with the krib generally hanging at the bottom and the angels typically mid to top it would probably be ok.

I added a pr of EBA with a few Pelvachromis Pulcher w/o any issues.

I think I am going to give it a shot, it will only be for a couple of days. I have everything I need to set up another tank, except a heater and my garage is my fish room so no heater is a deal breaker.

Well damn. In the process of changing water on all the tanks involved 210,40, and 29 the krib got sucked head first into the siphon tube. I am not sure he is going to make it, though he seemed to be gradually improving. I had to move him anyway because I would never catch the dovii out of the 210 once I filled it back up and did not feel comfortable leaving him in with the others another day while I was at work. The krib is still in a bag in the 29, I am not going to let him out until lights out. Hopefully he will be better in the morning.

Pretty sure I had kribs and angels in a 55g. that was 15 years ago so I’m not 100% sure but I would definitely try and it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looks to be working out fine, no nipping either way. I had a male angel at one time that was a real bully, and had read that kribs can be a little aggressive so I wanted to check. The male krib is still a little skittish but seems fine otherwise and besides being very geographically incorrect it appears to be a good pairing.
