Hello, I bought 5 kribs (2 males 3 females) for my 50 gallon tank. After abit I had a pair! So i removed all the others. But now it seems they never eat ! Theyve had babies and theyre now free swimming but ive never seen the parents eat and ive had them for about a month. Is this usual? I know they must be eating something because they may be skinny but they are still healthy and i do see them digging thru the sand. Any help will br most appreciated. Ive been trying to feed them bloodworms, brineshrimp, super veggie pellets and regular omnivore pellets. Ive been giving tons of options but they dont seem to like anything. And when they show interest they will put it in their mouth then spit it up. I gettin worried. Tank mates are 5x burmese boarder loach (anglecious botia)
A large but very peaceful severum (theyve got him hanging in 1/3 of the tank after he had a taste of their fry.. ) and a feeder fish that the severum never ate named Ted. :nilly:

Funny. I have an oscar thats about 12" who would not know what yo do with a feeder either. I have a few smaller fish in with him and its funny to see him contorting to look through the holes in the decor to see whay they are up to.

I've had some fish that I never see eat either. I figure that they will find the food when they are hungry. As long as they look healthy, I never worried too much about it.

Ahahaha its funny how some can be gentle giants and others can be complete dickwads.
Yeah im not worrying too much either but theyre getting thin for my liking. It could just be because theyre gaurding their young. Thanks for your imput bro :)
