it should be pointed. females are rounded, you should be able to tell the difference, and thats the caudal fin (tail fin).
And yes both males and females can have pink bellies, but males only get them when they are in breeding mode and the females will almost always be more prominant.
So find a non-pink bellied pointed caudal finned krib and a very pink bellied rounded caudal finned krib and you have a male/female pair.
