Krill Feeders.....

so i feed my Ps krill (along with other things) and I was wondering who else has this problem and what they do to remedy it.

What do you do when you get to about 1/4 of the can left and you have alot of "krill dust" do you sift it or just throw it all in the tank to get sucked into the filtration?

I am thinking to trying to sift mine this weekend

well you really dont want all that dust rotting in your filters so either sift it or buy a new can.

Feed it sparingly to smaller fishes if you (like little africans or fry). I say sparingly because, like 2004exrider said, you don't want it rotting in your filters. And why waste it?

Use the "dust" for the smaller tanks. I use my leftover, smaller pieces from the 100G to feed my 20G's Puffer.

I throw it out because most of the time the fish miss it and it just rots

I have not seen frozen ? I have feed salad shirmp but that didn't go over to well it got bad in the fridge between uses so i just prefere freeze dried. But i would be willing to use frozen at least once

usually leave the 1/4 for the africans they tend to eat it w/o problem

Idk i think it was due to the fact that i got a 4oz. can and had it shipped a decent distance. i think that thats what powdered the most of it but its not really that much just once i get to the last 1/4 can its slim pickens for the bigger pieces
