Well like the title says... He is getting it stuck around his head and tail what should I do? It has been like this his last couple sheds I just soak him but I want to help him go through it more comfortably.
If you put him in a dampened pillowcase set underneath your heat source, it will help him shed if you would prefer to not soak him. You do not need to use a lot of water soaking in the first place though.
my ksb had bad really sheds when it first came to me.
i think they are susceptible to respiratory infections more so than others in case of high humidity (correct me if i'm wrong), so i would avoid soaking.
after i started spraying down about 5 seconds a day during sheds, it was all good.
Don't soak them or spray the enclosure. What I do for my Sand Boa, is I put her in a bucket with a damp, wrung-out washcloth, then I cover the bucket. They instinctively try to dig under the washcloth, which roughs the stuck shed off.
