A brief note of appreciation to Nick aka. N-E Cichlids!

I posted a thread "Close to throwing in the towel" outlining difficulty I was having with a new saltwater tank set up. Nick sent me a pm with his # and told me to call him.

The # was to his pet store in Florida, which I did not know and would not have called during business hours as not to interrupt him. Anyway, he took the call and spent a good deal of time with me offering ideas and suggestions-TAKING TIME AWAY FROM HIS STORE...

I told Nick I lived in Illinois, so he know very little chance of me giving him local business...however, I will most likely be ordering from him anyway.

I believe Nick's store is in Ellenton, Florida-anyone close by needs to go in and see him...he is definetely a business owner that deserves to do well!

Thanks again Nick.

I can second that, he's helped me out, gave me some good advice also. I live about 30-40min from his store. I picked up a lot of live rock and a couple of fish from him and all is well thus far. I've been to the store he has a nice store going and gets in some cool stuff. It's def. worth the drive out there to pick stuff up.

Isn't this a GREAT forum? Without it you prolly would have thrown in the towel. But, out of the blue some guy a thousand miles away takes the time to hellp you out. I don't know Nick but I'm glad he's a member of this forum!

This forum has helped me more than anything.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm always around to help if I can. I am far from being an expert in SW or FW for that matter, but I have learned the hard way more than once. I know what it is like to be so frustrated and want to pack it up, but thankfully I had friends around who stepped in and helped me out. If you ever need anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email me.

Nick
