Kuhli or Weather Loach

I'd like to add a loach to help clean the bottom of my tank, how would one compare to the other in good terms? Both seem to be well mannered and so on, would either also be ok with additional non-aggressive tank makes such as a peacock eel and upside down catfish?
The rest are middle to top swimmers. My LFS has weather loaches, and they seem very entertaining to watch, but thought the pattern and color of the Kuhli is very different and eye catching. Which should I choose, and do either need to be species only, or groups?

go with weather loach. they are outgoing and friendly. kuhli's are very eye catching, but if you have tank with decorations you will probably never seem them. i had a large group of black and regular kuhli's in a planted tank, i rarely saw them.
weather loaches will be all over the tank, especially if you have a group of them
