Hey people.

I bought some el-cheapo ophiopogon kyoto plants only to learn now that they dont last that long in an aquarium. I'm a little dissapointed, but they are very beautiful foreground plants which my blue ram is absolutely loving.:hearts:

My question is: How long will this plant last for? has anyone had any exp with it?

Thanks alot! :D

Are u talking about kyoto grass found mostly at petco? If yes it is not an aquanatic plant .try to google it as far as i remember only roots can be submerged

after a google search I can safely say it is kyoto grass. T^T I wonder why some fish stores sell it if the plant is non aquatic?

do u guys think I should keep them until they start to rot off or go back to my LFS and demand a refund? still have the receipt. :P

You're better off with Dwarf Sagittaria, Micro Swords, or Dwarf Hair Grass if you want a true aquatic plant.

Good news people! I called my LFS and they said they'll replace the plants after I gave them a tongue lashing, it sounded like they didn't know it was a terrarium plant. :D

From now on i'm gonna have to take my blackberry to my LFS to double check EVERYTHING they say. :/

Thanks for the help
