Anyone know why this pleco Pseudacanthicas spinosis (spiny monster) is so hard to find? Other pseudas are available L-25 L-14 L273's. I know of the pleco ban but has this fish ever been bred in the aquarium? Thanks in advance.

Ugly and don't sell fast so Most importers don't bother. Dont get me wrong I am an ugly fish lover. I mostly keep ugly fish lol

Aside from being one of the least attractive pseudas, I would also imagine they're a ***** to ship.

L160 are not on any of the smugglers lists either, likely due to the lack of demand for them.
